Program for State Dinner Honoring President of Finland

This is the fourth page of an event program for the entertainment that followed a State Dinner hosted by President Richard M. Nixon in honor of President Urho Kekkonen of Finland on July 23, 1970. After the dinner in the State Dining Room, guests transitioned to the East Room for entertainment by the Camerata Singers, conducted by Abraham Kaplan, director of choral music at Julliard. Founded in 1961, the group consisted of 26 singers selected by Kaplan. This program is part of a personal collection belonging to former White House Executive Chef Henry Haller. As executive chef from 1966-1987, Haller oversaw the menus for over 250 State Dinners at the White House. To view the complete program, see 1126906.
